Blue Mountains Portrait Photographer: 'Feather Girl'

.
.
... I love how photography allows me to express myself on a creative level... the fashion, vintage things,  the Victorian/Edwardian era oh so beautiful and elegant !!
but also ... shoes  .... burlesque and of course...  feathers !!
So for my photo-session below, I really wanted to make a bold statement with bright colours, bright make-up and ... lots and lots of feathers !
Was thrilled with the result ! what do you think ?

Blue Mountains Fashion Photographer: 'Hat & pointe'

My friend came for a visit last month and as for each rare visit she does,
we always try to fit in a photo session.
For each person, I always aim to bring out their personality, a style that would suit and of course... a little bit of my ideas and inspiration, so this is my  vision of it:  Simple with basic colours, elegance ... and I threw a hat and some pointes (she is a dancer ... and why not a cigarette (since she smokes :)

We had so much fun doing this !
What do you think ?

Blue Mountains Portrait Photographer: 'Friends'

These trio girls wanted a fun photo-session, being all in different High school or class and yet, have kept their friendship for quite some time and wanted me to capture this special time in their lives.

Being all girly... they had a ball dressing-up, ... except that now... they no longer wanted to be
fairies or princesses but rather ... dark and goth lol ! ...

Inspired by the movie 'St Trinian's

Thank  you for your visit and comments.

Have a fantastic week !

'....Magic Mirror On the Wall...'

'.... tell me who is the fairest one of all...'

I recently had a Scrapbooking-challenge and of course, wanted to use my own photos/material for this, so this is  my vision/my interpretation of it... I wanted something 'dark' and have been inspired by the fairy tale of 'Snow white'
(Thank you so much for doing this for me Heather ! :)

the beautiful feet arch...
(but I did this session my way, love the result !
Thanks Heather ! :)
