Blue Mountains Photographer: 'The Collective Being' Exhibition

Wow !! ... What a year !! been so busy for the past few months, haven't had a chance to update my blog posts... I must say, Facebook is taking a lot of my time :), so if  you're on fb, come and say 'hi' or 'Like' my page to get more regular updates although...I would really like to keep my blog going ...

Anyway, one of my highlights of the year in 2013 (now that we are already in 2014 !!) was my very first exhibition... Such a thrilling experience, had lots of fun, learnt a lot too !
The gorgeous and talented Dusk has invited me to join together with Mitch Cox and Phyllis and the four of us displayed such a different variety of images that I feel anyone who'd come would be just taken back with our interpretation of 'The being' which took place at the M2 Gallery in Surry Hills NSW which went for a whole week (11th - 16th October 2013)

Oh la laa...quelle annee alors ! un planning tres charge' depuis qlqs mois...et j'ai meme pas eut le temps de mettre a jour mon blog...je dois dire que Facebook prend beaucoup de mon temps alors si vous etes sur facebook, passer me voir et cliquer sur 'J'aime' :) pour recevoir plus regulierement mes news... mais j'aimerais quand meme faire tourner ce blog alors je ferais de mon possible d'etre plus presente ici aussi pour vous tous qui n'etes pas sur fb :)
Bref... Une toute nouvelle pour moi pour 2013 (ben oui comme on est deja en 2014 !) c'est ma toute premiere expo-photo... quelle experience alors ! me suis eclate'...j'ai  appris aussi beaucoup de choses !
La talentueuse Dusk m'a invite' a la joindre dans cette expo avec 2 autres photographes et je dois dire que a nous quatre, on a presente' toute une variete' de photos toutes aussi interessantes les une que les autres avec nos styles differents.

Blue Mountains Photographer: 'Forest Girl'

Portrait session from last week-end: Had a vision of green forest backdrop, wild/crazy make-up and hair... the girls at Hairloom (for hair) and WindFlower Beauty (for make-up) came on board and... I must say I was so thrilled with their team work ! Love the results !

Blue Mountains Photographer: 'Advertising shoot'

Did an advertising shoot yesterday for a local business in Blackheath, showing a quick montage of some of the photos  but... there are so many that I love from that session.  I wonder which one the owner of the Hairsalon  will choose for her advertisement.  So many beautiful ones!!


(J'ai fait un shoot publicitaire pour une boite locale la semaine derniere, je vous montre un petit montage de quelques photos mais... il y en a beaucoup que j'aime de cette serie.  Je me demande laquelle la proprietaire choisira pour sa photo publicitaire :)

Blue Mountains Photographer: 'Pretty pink'

When I saw those little pink petals that dropped

on the ground nearby this week, I visualised a shoot with a girly/romantic feel to it.

Love  that gorgeous headpiece as well it just adds to it dont you think ? :)

j'ai de suite visualise' un shoot avec une touche girly et romantique.
La couronne de fleurs ajoute un petit quelque chose aussi vous trouvez pas ?

Blue Mountains Photographer: 'Portrait... Cabaret-style'

This is Rosie who came to me for some shots for her work profile and after they were done,
and before packing up... I really wanted to do some
fun shots 'Cabaret' kind of style 

which I thought would suit her perfectly !

(Les photos ci-dessous sont de  Rosie qui est venue me voir pour un shoot pour son profile de travail  et avant de finir la seance, on s'est eclate' a essayer un shoot style 'portrait cabaret' qui je trouve
lui va a ravir !)

Blue Mountains Photographer: 'Expecting'...

I'm so thrilled to have been asked to shoot last week this gorgeous Mum&Dad-to-be.

I had lots of ideas for the shoot (in my studio) but then... 

decided to make the most of the beautiful Blue mountains locations and

of the perfect weather on that day !

(Un vrai plaisir pour moi que l'on m'ait demande' de faire un shoot pour un gentil couple et 

futur papa-maman.

J'avais des idees pour ce shoot (dans mon studio) mais finallement...

j'ai decide' de profiter des magnifiques petits coins des Montagnes bleues et

surtout....du temps splendide ce jour-la !)

Blue Mountains Photographer: 'Silhouette'

I always wanted to do a shoot at this stunning location of the Blue Mountains where
the view is simply breathtaking and that afternoon,

the weather was absolutely gorgeous !

Just perfect for some silhouette shots !

***J'ai toujours voulu faire un shoot dans ce coin des Montagnes Bleues ou la vue est absolument des plus magnifiques !  
Cet apres-midi-la le temps etait tout simplement radieux et.... 
parfait pour ce shoot pour des silhouettes ! ***

Blue Mountains Photographer: 'Sydney Tattoo Expo 2013'

When I get  to the city, I always make sure to make the most of it and all the entertainment that Sydney has to offer :).  Early last month the Sydney Tattoo expo was on.   Always wanted to get there and...what a thrill !! So much to see and to do ... here my glimpse of it !
Absolutely loved it ! can't wait for next year again ! (this time planning to attend whole day/night :)


(Miss Pin-up pageant was also on that day, all as gorgeous as each others ...
Tough job for the judges ! )

Blue Mountains Photographer: 'Opening of AfterFive Fashion with the Darnell Collection'

Early last month, I've been invited to the official opening of the 'After Five', Fashion from the Darnell Collection at Hazelhurst Regional Gallery & Art Centre (Gymea NSW).  Gorgeous display of vintage dresses from Christian Dior to John Galiano and more, simply superbe ! 
(Of course, couldn't help myself, took some shots :).  If you get there, make sure to get to their shop after browsing, you can also get yourself a mini book of the collection (with photos mostly from: Brigitte Grant Photography ! Such a thrill for me to see my work in prints again ! 
The exhibition is open until 12 May.

Blue Mountains Photographer: 'B&W portrait'

Hi there...

Went down to the city last month and did a mini shoot...

Made the most of the simple and basic location and  ... love the result !

I chose to edit the images in B&W so to accentuate the lines and give a bit of texture to them...
What do you think ?

(Je suis allee sur Sydney le mois dernier et ai fait un mini shoot.

J'ai profite' du coin tres simple et pourtant... j'adore l'effet donne' !

(J'ai decide' de les editer en N&B pour accentuer les lignes et donner un peu de texture a l'image...)
